complaining. whining. all the above

It's crazy to think about how selfish we are most of the time. We waste our lives complaining, whining, refusing to reach the level of joy and contentment Christ desires for us to have through Him. We constantly grumble and mutter under our breaths about doing a daily devotion, when if anything, God should complain about hearing our whining everyday. Only He doesn't. He cares. Christ loves us, despite our tendency to whine over the pettiest little things.
Philippians 2:14-15 tells us to "Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure..."
Complaining only creates problems for the complainer and those who harmlessly overhear the complaints. It boils down to attitude- are you going to sit and whine about present conflicts, or trust that the Big Man might actually know what He's doing?
